Diligio Agency Details

The Diligio Agency offers several services to individuals and organizations who serve devalued people.  Among these services are: Social Role Valorization Training, Education in the fields of Values and  Images, Service Assessment, Service Management Seminars, and consciousness raising about social exclusion issues.

The Agency grew out of SRV South-West in Devon and Cornwall in the 1990s and SRV training courses in central England in the 1980s. Diligio was founded in 2002 in Cornwall and offered courses, training and service assessment for South-West England and Wales.  In 2005 the agency relocated to Scotland and now offers courses and other services for mainly Northern England and Southern Scotland, although courses can be offered elsewhere if required.

Presentations and assessments have been mainly in the fields of Mental Health, Learning Disability and Physical Disability, although the material offered is equally applicable to the Criminal Justice System, Substance Use, services for people with problems with Poverty and Underclass membership, as well as the areas of ethnic, religious  and racial discrimination and any other form of social exclusion.
