Wasted Lives

One of the great values in life is the feeling that ones life and actions are personally and generally valued.  Whether this is measured by parenting of children, service to the wider community, achievement of educational awards, participation in groups and a wider society, being a good friend and colleague to others, or even by the achievement of high levels of wealth, it allows a valued individual to assign meaning to their life.

People who are devalued by society are often denied such roles/experiences and are therefore at great risk of living what may be seen by themselves and others as 'Wasted Lives'.
