Congregation

Congregation is the practice of not only separating low-valued persons from society, but then also gathering them together with 'others of their kind', or with other groups with low social value.

For instance, the old Asylums were a prime example of Congregation- gathering together many people whose only common attribute was the application of the label 'mad' or 'idiot'.

Other examples of congregation include the concentration of services for people unvalued by society in already socially disadvantaged areas, social activity groups aimed only at a particular low-valued group and those that care for them (PHAB- Physically Handicapped and Able Bodied groups), hotels that specialize in holidays for disadvantaged groups only.

There are many examples of such Congregation.
